Yes, there are. Malaysia has a series of affirmative action laws called Bumiputra laws. Although there are twice as many Malays as ethnic Chinese in Malaysia, the Chinese are financially dominant. These affirmative action laws are meant to equalize the playing field. Malays must hold 30% of the equity for companies that are listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange.
