Sales & Business Development Manager

Polysciences, a US based manufacturer, has been delivering quality services to our customers since 1961. We manufacture specialty and fine chemicals, laboratory products, monomers, polymers, microscopy, histology, biotechnology, electronics and specialty products for pharmaceutical and personal care industries. We are looking for a Sales & Business Development Manager for our new Taipei, Taiwan office.

This Sales & Business Development Manager will grow the presence of our company in Asia. An aggressive, experienced individual is needed. A self-starter, self-motivated individual is necessary for success in this role.

The Sales & Business Development Manager will identify and develop new customers in Asia. This position reports to the Vice President of Catalog & International Business (located in the US) works with the VP in developing and implementing overall business strategy for Asia.

Qualifications of the preferred candidate include:

• 8-10 years experience in a technical sales role selling specialty chemicals to the biomedical, life sciences, pharmaceutical, and related industries
• Must have thorough knowledge of the ways and means of efficient marketplace participation
• Strong chemistry or biology based technical knowledge together with broad sales experience
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Extensive contact base in the industry and attends industry functions
• High level of fluency, both written and oral, of English Language as well as Mandarin
• Excellent organizational and communications skills
• Ability to Travel. Travel approximately 50%+ within Asia.

Salary is commensurate with experience. We are interested in candidates who currently reside in the US but looking to return to Taiwan or candidates currently residing in Taiwan.
