Korea
South Korea's economy is one of the strongest in Asia and its infrastructure one of the most advanced. As the country becomes more knowledge-intensive, employment of professional technicians and skilled workers has increased. In contrast, the demand for unskilled workers in the manufacturing sector is declining. However, Western companies doing business in Korea must deal with cumbersome regulations, as well as strikes and labor disputes in some industries.
PBI has been assisting Western companies with recruiting and HR consulting in Korea for the past 20 years. In addition to Korean speakers in our US office, we also work with a trusted local partner in Seoul.
